Darby is so wacky sometimes. I mean, Shelby is always wacky so we're all desensitized. But when Darby goes wacky on us, it's often a doozy in contrast with her "normal" behavior.
She and Shelby both had field trips to a local amusement park today. Not only did Darby go on a water ride to purposely get dripping wet while wearing jeans in the chilly weather (~65 and cloudy), but she also went and aquired this funky hat. On purpose. AND, when I picked her up from school she was wearing the hat around like it was the "in" thing. While it's good that she's not very self-conscious about what people think, that is just one ugly head-piece. I mean, it's not even cute. At all.
