I'm proud of the Phillies and their nine-game win streak, though sad it came to an end this evening. I held off going on about it here as to not jinx it. I thought for sure it would have been over yesterday, as they were facing Pedro. So today was a bonus, though I can't say I wasn't hoping they'd exceed their 1991 13-game win streak. I'm just glad that, considering the way the season started, they're solidly in second place, just four games back from first. Go Phils!
